Hi, welcome to the sole online presence of Matt Walker Joinery. Historically I have spent more time making beautiful things than I have collecting great images of those things. This is a situation I hope to address in the near future because pictures truly communicate things that words cannot. Anyway here are just a few images to get started.
I"m inspired by balance in form, space, light, colour and texture. Sourcing fine solid timbers locally and from around the world, I'm fortunate to maintain long term relationships with suppliers including historic european family businesses. I try to use exclusively farmed or certified sustainable stock. I have a very current knowledge of the ever evolving global supply of furniture grade plywoods and match these with high grade veneer layups to complement the solid wood construction.
